Breakwater Spotlight

Join us for Breakwater’s 71st Annual Business Meeting & Dinner, where we celebrate another year of serving our members and strengthening our community! This year’s Annual Meeting will take place at Michigan Tech’s Memorial Union Building Ballroom on April 16. Doors open at 5:30PM and dinner will be served at 6:00PM. We invite all our members to enjoy dinner on us and hear about the credit union’s accomplishments over the past year. In 2024, Houghton High School and Breakwater Federal Credit Union hosted the Houghton-Keweenaw-Baraga area’s first reality fair!  The fair was created by Michigan Credit Union League with the intention of teaching students what to expect when they graduate and enter the workforce: students receive a mock occupation and paycheck and must budget and “pay” for their monthly expenses. The 2nd Annual Reality Fair on Monday, April 7 at Houghton High School. We Need Volunteers This event would not be possible without the support of volunteers. We will provide lunch for all volunteers on the day of the
